The fragmented practice

Your practice runs across a dozen disconnected tools.

Research in one tab, the CRM in another, portfolios at the custodian, compliance in a spreadsheet. The context that makes good advice lives everywhere and connects nowhere — and almost none of it is audit-ready.

45minAverage research per client review, before WealthCowork
01

Context scattered everywhere

Portfolios at the custodian, notes in the CRM, filings on EDGAR, plans in a folder. Every client question means reassembling the picture by hand.

02

Nothing is audit-ready

When compliance asks how you reached a recommendation, can you produce a timestamped, sourced trail? Most stacks can't.

03

Point tools that don't talk

A notetaker here, a planning app there, a risk tool somewhere else. Each solves one step and hands you back more copy-paste.

Where the industry is

The shift to AI-assisted advice is already mainstream.

Adoption has crossed from early movers to the mainstream. The firms pulling ahead aren't bolting AI onto one task — they're running the practice on it. WealthCowork is built to be that layer, grounded in your own client data.

The Chen portfolio ($1.2M) has returned +8.2% over 90 days, outperforming the S&P 500's 6.1%. Two concerns: AAPL concentration at 15.2% exceeds the 10% moderate-profile threshold, and portfolio beta of 1.3 runs above the expected 0.8–1.2 range.

Research intelligence12 research & RAG tools

Cited research, not confident guesses.

One query orchestrates across SEC EDGAR, macroeconomic indicators, prediction markets, financial news, and your firm's documents — then returns a sourced answer with confidence scoring.

  • Three RAG corpora — SEC filings, news, your firm's docs — searched as distinct sources
  • Confidence score on every answer with reasoning trace
  • Inline citations to source chunk and page
  • Regenerate to compare alternatives — both logged
Portfolio analytics6 portfolio tools · daily

Drift, attribution, the signals you can't watch every day.

Daily snapshots of every household's holdings, cross-checked against the IPS bands. Drift signals fire the day a position breaches.

  • Drift alerts against IPS bands — same day, not next quarter
  • Insider activity surfaced per holding
  • ETF profile lookup with sector weights
  • Concentration alerts — HHI, single-stock, sector
  • Benchmark against any index
Compliance, built in100% interactions audited

A posture score that updates daily.

Every AI output cited and logged. Every suitability suggestion tracked from generated → accepted or rejected. Agreements go out for e-signature, disclosures to households — each tracked to signed.

  • Compliance posture score (0–100) with 90-day trend
  • AI governance — override rate, citation %, hallucination catches
  • Suitability matrix — every client × every asset class
  • Send IPS, agreements & beneficiary forms for e-signature — tracked to signed
  • Deliver Form ADV / CRS & disclosures — delivered → acknowledged
  • Audit export, filterable by date and materiality
Built for how you adviseNative data model

Households, joint accounts, entities.

Real advisor data is messy: spouses, kids, LLCs, trusts, joint brokerage, separate IRAs, a per-member IPS. Most tools force you to flatten it into a contact list — and lose the structure that matters for advice.

  • Household → Individual / Entity (LLC, trust, foundation) → Accounts
  • Versioned IPS docs per entity — DRAFT → APPROVED → SUPERSEDED
  • Per-member suitability with AI-proposed updates you accept or reject
  • Joint and separate accounts, custodian-tagged
  • Pre-meeting briefs against the full household context
Security & compliance

Data-freshness is shown on every response. Stale data is flagged before you cite it — the kind of detail audit officers thank you for.

FAQ

Questions advisors ask before they start

How is WealthCowork different from consumer AI assistants?

Consumer AI assistants hallucinate — they generate plausible-sounding answers without verifying facts or citing sources. WealthCowork uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to ground every answer in real data: SEC filings, FRED economic data, financial news, and your uploaded client documents. Every claim includes an inline citation linking to the source document and page number. You get research you can actually trust with your fiduciary duty.

What data sources does WealthCowork use?

WealthCowork synthesizes data from SEC EDGAR (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K filings), FRED (Federal Reserve economic data), financial news feeds, prediction markets, market intelligence, and any documents you upload (PDFs, financial plans, prospectuses). All sources are cited inline so you can verify every claim.

Do I need technical expertise to use WealthCowork?

No. WealthCowork is designed for financial advisors, not engineers. You ask questions in natural language — the same way you'd ask a research analyst — and get structured, cited answers in seconds. Upload documents by drag-and-drop. Export audit logs as PDF or CSV with one click.

How does the audit trail work?

Every query, every answer, and every citation is timestamped and stored in an immutable audit log. You can export complete audit trails as PDF or CSV at any time, formatted for regulatory retention requirements (SEC, FINRA). Your compliance officer will love it.

Can clients sign documents and agreements through WealthCowork?

Yes. WealthCowork includes a built-in e-signature flow powered by DocuSign — connect your DocuSign account in Settings, then send advisory agreements, Investment Policy Statements, BOI authorizations, and beneficiary designations for signature without leaving the platform. You can also deliver disclosures like Form ADV and Form CRS to a household and track them from delivered to acknowledged. Every document lands in the client's Document Center with its full lifecycle — draft, out for signature, signed — captured in the audit trail.

Can I use WealthCowork for pre-meeting preparation?

Yes — this is one of the most popular use cases. WealthCowork can auto-generate pre-meeting briefs that include a holdings snapshot, relevant news and SEC filings, upcoming catalysts, and prior action items. What used to take 45 minutes of manual research is ready in seconds.

Can WealthCowork understand charts and images in my documents?

Yes. WealthCowork uses a multimodal ingestion pipeline that goes beyond text extraction. When you upload a PDF containing charts, graphs, tables-as-images, or diagrams, each page is analyzed individually. Pages with visual content are processed through a vision AI model that extracts specific data points, axis values, trends, and table structures — so when you ask about a portfolio allocation pie chart or a performance comparison table, WealthCowork retrieves the actual numbers from the visual, not just the surrounding text.
